He was once an English mercenary.
He fought across Europe: from France to the East.
But tiring of killing and bloodshed he retired to a monastery as a lay brother.
He now devotes himself to healing; using his knowledge of herbs and their curative properties and of surgical procedures accumulated during his battles and travels.

He is now available to give presentations upon the medieval use of herbs, their healing properties and medieval surgical procedures.

See the actual herbs and find out:

How illness was diagnosed (Not for the squeamish!!!!)

What pain-killers were used before aspirin came along.

What plant was used to heal broken limbs.

How an arrow was removed from the face of
Prince Hal, (the future Henry V), after the
Battle of Shrewsbury in 1403.

How a crossbow was used to treat injuries.
